On the garment
The cloth it has to sit on.
Caps and beanies, polos and hoodies, work jackets and tote bags – the cloth a workshop actually sews on. A cap carries 55 mm across the front; a hoodie back carries 260. The file does not change – the size does, and that is the whole decision.

What Sting is
Sting is our own refined embroidery stitch engine built by digitizing.app. It converts PNG, JPG and SVG artwork into machine stitch files – DST, PES, JEF, VP3, EXP and XXX – in seconds. Current version: Sting v3.1.9.
A reference page, kept honest. Last updated . Every price is from 2026 and checked against the seller’s own page. They are in US dollars because the market is international. The 1 mm figure is the practical floor for a satin stitch in 40-weight thread; finer thread and a smaller needle lower it, and that is a different machine setup, not a different opinion.
