Getting it onto the machine
Open it in any drawing program. It is not for the machine.
How the file is built
This one is not stitches. It is the shapes the engine traced, written as clean curves — the drawing your stitch file was built from. 2 decimals per millimetre, ten times finer than anything that was traced.
Colours
Every shape keeps the colour it was traced with, and the largest is written first so it sits at the back.
If your machine is not listed
Use DST. Every commercial machine reads it, and most home machines will too — it is the format the trade falls back on. The stitches are identical in all seven; only the wrapper differs, so «which format?» is a question about your machine and never about quality.
